"And I hope
we won't have to do
Actually, you were often times more than just a little bit grumpy. In fact, you can be a major pain in the butt to work with... no, let me change that... work for. But the the fact of the matter is:
1) You did most of the work (and did it very well, I might add), so we didn't have to put up with you as much as we could have.
2 ) The tent idea, even though it cost an arm and two legs, turned out to be tremendous. Besides, mom and dad don't really spend their money on much else. I mean, they can't very well use up their life savings on the Burger King 99 cent special or the Hof Brau two for one.
3) Both the catering and the entertainiment were outstanding. I for one thought that the hula show would be pretty hokey, but it turned out to be tremendous--the kids were spell bound. Also, the caterers were about as polite and professional as they come. Of course, the real highlight was having Johnny Cochran as our bartender--his law business must be suffering since OJ.
4) I heard only one criticism--Mr. Dodge thought that Joe Gilman was too loud.
So anyway, thank you for a job well done. And I hope we won't have to do this again for a little while, although my kids are anxious to do another show. Both said that the best part was singing on stage with their other cousins.
